Originally filled into ex Bourbon barrels in 2001, our Bladnoch 17 Year Old was disgorged and re-filled into ex red wine casks over two operations in March 2016 and January 2017. A blend of two vattings, this smooth expression is bottled at 46.7% and is non-chill filtered.

Tasting Notes:
Bladnoch 17 year old is rich and malty, finished in Californian red wine casks.
Colour: Copper red.
Nose: Rich and composed, dried fruit, coffee, cherries, toffee, vanilla and sweet oak.
Palate: Lively but smooth. Spicy oak, prunes, orange marmalade, cherries, with hints of liquorice and cinnamon.
Finish: Quite complex, malty, dried fruits, shortbread and spicy lightly peppery oak.
Filtration: Non-chill filtered. Natural colour.
