This is an original Washington State apple crate label — a 1930s lithograph from the factory stock of Perham Fruit Company, Yakima, Washington. It has never been used. Never folded. Never attached to a crate. It is New Old Stock in excellent condition.

The label is beautiful. A snow owl — white, immaculate, composed — is centered against a warm red ground. The owl holds its perch with the absolute stillness that owls are known for, the kind of stillness that feels like attention rather than absence. Against the deep red, the white owl has a graphic boldness — high contrast, visually arresting — that makes the blue version feel serene and this one feel decisive. Same bird, entirely different mood.

This is the red apple version. The same owl also appears on a blue pear label from the same Perham Fruit Company stock — the two together make a striking pair for display. Four available.
