Elmer T. Lee '90th Birthday Edition' Bourbon is a unique spirit produced as a commemorative bottling honoring what would have been the 90th birthday of Elmer T. Lee, a legendary figure in the bourbon industry. It is crafted at the esteemed Buffalo Trace Distillery, which has a storied history dating back to 1775 and has undergone several name changes, including the George T. Stagg Distillery. Known for its exceptional quality, Buffalo Trace is recognized as the most award-winning distillery in America, having received multiple accolades, including seven "Distillery of the Year" titles. The distillery, still family-owned and situated in Franklin County, Kentucky, boasts over 130 acres of operational architecture and has been home to some of the world's most renowned Master Distillers. This limited edition bourbon is crafted using Mash Bill #1, made from the finest corn, rye, and malted barley, and aged in new oak barrels to achieve peak maturity. Praised for its rich flavor and excellent value, proceeds from this special bottling support the Frankfort VFW Post 4075, a place significant to Lee until his passing in 2013.
