Winner of Best In Show at the prestigious 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this 25-year-old single malt from Glen Scotia was matured in American oak barrels and married in first-fill bourbon basks before bottling. Aromas of sweet vanilla, salty sea breezes and clove-studded oranges fill the nose, complemented by notes of red apples, tangy orange, caramel, ground ginger and sea salt throughout the palate.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE: Bracing Atlantic breeze gives strong maritime influence.
TASTE: Coastal air, red apple and tangy orange peel with vanilla syrup and caramel sweetness.
FINISH: Long lingering sea salt with a spicy note of ground ginger.
