Shelter Point is distilling and bottling some of the most exciting single malt whiskies made anywhere. This expression is named after Barrett Montfort, who founded the farm at Shelter Point. A true single-grain whisky, made from 100% barley, Montfort is grown, distilled, and bottled entirely at one location.
Nose: Dense, with vanilla, leather and fruit sweetness.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel, Manuka honey and dark chocolate-covered raisins.
Finish: Long, with chocolate fudge, oak spices, and white pepper at the very end.
