Silicone Group Gasket - Conical Nuova Simonelli
Heat-resistant silicone conical group gasket for the Nuova Simonelli Aurelia and Aurelia II, and the Victoria Arduino Adonis and Black Eagle, also suitable for La Cimbali. Silicone was chosen specifically for cleanliness: it stays neutral, with no smell or taste transfer, unlike standard EPDM rubber.

INSTALLATION
Simple DIY replacement, install with the "REPA" branding facing up. Do not use a sharp screwdriver to seat it, as this will tear the silicone; instead, use the portafilter with the basket removed as an installation tool.
PRO TIPS
- Silicone doesn't bake hard the way EPDM rubber does, so removal is easier and you don't need to crank the portafilter tight to get a seal. Always lubricate with a silicone-safe grease, petroleum-based grease will degrade it over time.
