First filled into an American Oak fresh filled red wine barrel in 2016, this barrel was then finished in a heavy char American Oak hogshead for another year, to fully develop its depth and distinction. Our quintessential candied red fruits from the barrels, and tropical notes from our new make spirit make this a luscious representation of Starward innovation and quality.
Nose / Like we took bright flavours of red berries and orchard fruit and coated them in soft oak spice.
Palate / Imagine a rich red berry pudding covered in vanilla, caramel and spice.
Finish / Balanced and long. The sweetness fades and the delicious flavour goes on.
