History
The Macallan Concept No. 3 is a limited edition single malt that showcases a contemporary graphic design in collaboration with renowned designer David Carson. This innovative release employs unique production techniques that highlight the artistry of whisky-making. The Macallan distillery, established in 1824, is nestled on a ridge above the River Spey, where the historic Easter Elchies House has served as its spiritual home for over three centuries. Alexander Reid, in 1820, laid the foundations by cultivating barley around his rented home, creating the estate's first licensed distillery. Today, The Macallan Estate spans 370 acres, with a commitment to quality that resonates through each bottle produced.
